It is with a great sense of pride and excitement that the faculty, staff, and administration welcome you and your child to Greeneview High School for the 2012-2013 school year! We believe that our students are in store for a wonderful year of excitement, opportunities, and growth.

Our education vision remains the same it has in year’s past: to educate all children and to create a “Community of Learners, a Community of Success…Both Today and Tomorrow.” Greeneview High School is a proud partner in education with the community of Jamestown, Ohio, and the surrounding area. We value our partnership with the Greene County Career Center, where junior and senior students can attend and receive high-quality technical and career training. GHS students have the ability to achieve college credits in multiple disciplines through a partnership with Clark State University and a full complement of AP courses.

The economic base of Greeneview Local Schools is supported by several small and medium-sized industries and a new agreement with Premier Health Partners and Miami Valley Hospital. This agreement helped us finish a track renovation project this past fall and we are excited to open that new facility in the spring of 2013. Our partnership with this health care organization helps us advance the mission that we want to produce healthy, productive citizens.

These partnerships help create an environment that allows us to educate and experience significant academic achievement by all of our students. We are committed to achieving significant gains in both classroom and test score performance. We are proud to be considered an Excellent High School by the Ohio Department of Education and part of an Excellent School District in 2012.

Our mission is to provide an excellent education in a safe and caring environment, preparing every student to succeed in a global society. We ask our community to assist us in the effort to keep our schools Excellent. As the parent, you play the most pivotal role in this partnership to educate your child. We need you to insist that your child attend school every day, put in academic work outside of school, and they give their best effort every day. We encourage you to ask questions and to be involved in the school.
