| We're Peanutty about Primary
PTO!
On September 29, we will send home nut sale information.
All Primary students are invited to participate. This successful
annual event is sponsored by the Parent Teacher Organization. The
sale includes a wide variety of nuts and treats. The timing of the
sale gives your family, friends and acquaintances the chance to
buy for holiday baking and entertaining. The proceeds help us to
buy materials like library books and classroom teaching materials,
and support school programs like Greene County Parks and Recreation
teaching visits and Dayton Philharmonic visits.
We are fortunate to have a very active parent organization in our
school! Please consider becoming a part of this fine group. Officers
for this year are: President Krista Harding; Treasurer: Amy Eakins;
Secretary, Jenny Sigfried. Other leaders include Homeroom Coordinators:
Krista Vipperman and Alyson Whitehead. |
| Where, Oh Where
Has My Little Dog Gone?
Students have many personal items like lunch boxes, sweaters,
hats, and jackets. Sometimes, they set these down and forget where
they have put them. Help us and help yourselves by clearly marking
your child's name on any personal items that comes to school. At
the end of each year, our lost and found box is full and overflowing
with perfectly good clothing and other items that we cannot give
to the owners because they ar not marked. |
-
Please return all forms promptly so we will
have accurate records for you and your child
-
Please call the office before 9 AM if your child
is absent
-
Students are not allowed to make up work without
a note after an absence
-
Students are not to bring toys or radios to
school. Teachers may give permission to bring them on special
days

Lunch Tickets
Lunch tickets are helpful for our students. Here are some reminders:
1. Tickets are for students buying lunch for more than one day
in the week.
2. Tickets are available the first day of a week in the office.
3. Paying by check is best, but cash is also accepted.

Working Together |
Getting a good start to
the day is vital. Use this list of practical ideas to use with strategies
you are already using. Together we can make it
a great day!
- Plan wake up time that gives children plenty of time to get
moving, eat breakfast, and get ready without rushing.
- Lay out clothers and supplies the night before.
- Establish storage areas for bookbags, lunch boxes, lunch money,
homework and clothes to prevent having to search for them.
- Set aside time to talk. When you take the time to say even a
few words, you are reminding your children that you care.
- Make you last words to them in the morning positive and pleasant.
