COUNSELOR NEWS:

 

Attention Sophomores who may be interested in one of the new programs at the Greene County Career Center next year:  Visits to the new programs are available on Feb 12, March 11 or April 8.   Students will ride the bus to and from the Career Center and lunch will be provided.  More information is available in the guidance office.

 

Local Greeneview Scholarship Applications are now available to Seniors.  Check your school email for information regarding how to apply. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Gardner.

 

ATTENTION:

 

Sign language club will meet on Monday, January 27 after school in Mrs. Garringer's room.

 

The yearbook requests all students participate in the work survey. We are compiling data on how many of you hold a job. Please check your Greeneview account.

 

The Greeneview Talent Show is this afternoon.  Each student needs to pay their 7th period teacher $1 to attend.  

 

NHS is sponsoring the winter blood drive today.

 

There is no school on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. day.

 

Quick Recall competes at Cedarville on Tuesday, January 21st.

 

Greeneview FFA is having a canned food drive.  We are competing against Cedarville’s FFA. All cans will be donated to the local food pantry and the winner of the food drive will be announced at the boys Greeneview/Cedarville basketball game on February 7th. The food drive will also be a competition against grade levels here at Greeneview. The winning grade’s class president will get to smash a pie in Mr. Wickline's face. Please bring in canned foods!!

Students who will be 18 years old this summer can apply for positions assisting with the 2020 Census.  Pay starts at $16 per hour. Applications are available at: 2020census.gov/jobs see more information on the bulletin board outside the guidance office.
