Program Overview
Greeneview Bridge Academy is a full-time program for students in grades 7-12. The Bridge supports students who desire a non-traditional pathway to earning their diploma by blending learning, accelerating courses and schedules, and allowing for credit recovery. Students work on-campus 5 days a week. There will be additional course assignments that will need to be completed off-campus and students can work on assignments 24/7. All students who complete their courses and program requirements will receive credit towards a Greeneview High School Diploma. Licensed teachers will be available to provide educational support to students. Students have access to a blended schedule of traditional elective courses and online courses offered through PLATO learning system.

The mission of Greeneview Bridge Academy is to provide an environment that will encourage and maximize academic and behavioral potential by developing positive attitudes, a sense of self-worth, and a vision of becoming successful and productive citizens in the community.

Eligibility
The Greeneview Bridge Academy is open to any full-time student in grades 7 -12 in the Greeneview school district. A student needs to have daily access to the internet when off-campus in order to maintain weekly progress. Students will be responsible for their own transportation.
Enrollment
Enrollment in the Greeneview Bridge Academy is a commitment to receiving an educational program in a new and exciting way. Students new to Greeneview Schools must fill out a new registration packet at the Board of Education Office. Current Greeneview Local Schools students should discuss enrollment with their school counselor. School counselors will fill out referrals for review and acceptance into the Bridge. The Director of Alternative Programming holds the right to accept or reject any applicant. Students can transfer in and out of the Bridge at the beginning or end of a semester.
Location
The Greeneview Bridge Academy is located in the current High School located at 4710 Cottonville Rd. Jamestown, OH. The Bridge Academy shares the building with High School staff and students. Programming will be held in the former Industrial Arts lab space. Bridge students will park in the rear of the building and enter through a separate entrance to the space. Students will be responsible for their own transportation. Any student driving to school must park in the designated parking spaces in the parking lot behind GHS.
Time
While classes are available online and always open, the Greeneview Bridge Academy computer lab will operate Monday – Friday.
AM session attend from 8:15 a.m-11:15 a.m.
PM session attend from 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
Weather Delays/Cancellations/Calendar
The Greeneview Bridge Academy will follow the same weather delay and cancelation policy of the Greeneview Local School District. However, students are encouraged to work on their assignments at home, if possible.
*The Bridge Academy will follow the same student calendar as Greeneview High School. Students attending the AM class will not be in session when the Greeneview Local School District operates on a two-hour delay. Students attending the PM class will not be in session when the Greeneview Local School District operates on a two-hour early dismissal.
